But all these places share something: Above all, the bright and penetrating light from the Mediterranean sea which makes the white cities and towns and the clean beaches shine.

THE PEOPLE
A welcoming and attractive country, where people takes care of nature nicely and as they are cosmopolitan.

Foreigners influenced these people in the past, so Spaniards in the Costa Blanca have a very open nature, very strong traditions and they manifestly like children.

During the whole year some famous festivals take place. It’s worth visiting them and seeing the great participation of the citizens.

NATURE AND SEA
A rich variety of landscapes, with high mountains, wide valleys and deep ravines. There are many nature reserves in this special region. Its agriculture consists in olive trees, almond trees, grapes and wine. Oranges, lemons and other fruits along with vegetables and rice, are the main source of income.

The sea, with its richness of fish and underwater flora, attracts lots of visitors each year. The perfect place for any kind of water sports, sand beaches, underwater grasslands (Posidonia) and rocky areas which make this region very interesting.

Fishing is, in some places along the coastline, very important.
